The City of Presque Isle, together with regional and state partners, offers a robust toolkit of incentives and financial resources to make growth more affordable and less risky:
- Presque Isle Development Fund
- Local funding support for infrastructure, site preparation, and facility improvement.
- Encourages public–private investment to accelerate project timelines.

- Tax Increment Financing (TIF)
- Incremental tax revenue generated by new development can be redirected toward public improvements or infrastructure needed by the project.
- Helps balance up-front capital costs and provides incentive for reinvestment.

- Pine Tree Development Zone (PTDZ)
- http://www.maine.gov/decd/start-grow/ that allows eligible businesses to retain state taxes for up to 10 years.
- Encourages job creation, business expansion, and regional investment.

- Low-interest or revolving loans available to support expansions, equipment purchase, or working capital.

- Micro-financing Loan Program
- New business start-ups, or expansion of business within Presque Isle
- Eligible business shall not exceed $50,000 in annual sales or employee more than 2 employees
- Downtown Facade Grant Program
- Zero percent non-payment grants for qualifying downtown commercial façades to improve the aesthetics of the storefront within the Downtown Retail Business Zone and Retail Business Zones from Howard Street to Allen Street.
